Consolidated Facility Charge
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors has approved an alternate Consolidated Facility Charge of $5.80 per day (maximum of five days) on March 1, 2022. County of Sonoma issues annual report on health of retirement system
The County of Sonoma has reduced its unfunded pension liability by 30 percent over the last four years, the result of strong investment returns and decisions by the Board of Supervisors to make early payments on the county’s unfunded liability, according to the fourth annual State of the Retirement System report presented to supervisors today. Board of Supervisors adopts resolution opposing Koi Tribe attempts to establish casino in Sonoma County
The Board of Supervisors today unanimously adopted a resolution opposing the Koi Nation of Northern California’s attempts to place land southeast of Windsor into trust to build a casino. Read full story
FY 2022 CoC Renewal Evaluations: Rating & Ranking Process for the 2021 Continuum of Care Competition
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires that local CoC’s prioritize all renewal and new projects submitted in our consolidated application. As in past years, project priorities will be generated by a scoring system, site visits and interviews by the CoC Competition Evaluation Committee, made up of impartial members of the Sonoma County Continuum of Care Board and community partners. The evaluation Committee will be considered a committee of the CoC, and all documents will be published and noticed publicly. Read full story
HomeFirst to operate the Sonoma County Continuum of Care’s Coordinated Entry System
The Coordinated Entry System in Sonoma County has changed operators from Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa to HomeFirst, a nonprofit agency based in Santa Clara County. The change in operators was approved by the local Continuum of Care Board and took effect on April 1. Read full story
