Sonoma County outlines plan to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations to the 37,000 children age 5 to 11 in county
In tandem with the Sonoma County Office of Education and other community partners, Sonoma County health officials today unveiled plans to deliver free COVID-19 vaccinations to the roughly 37,000 children in the county between the ages of 5 and 11 as soon as the doses are approved by federal regulators. GrowerWorkshop Update and Online Continuing Education Options
The Sonoma County Department ofAgriculture/Weights & Measures (AWM) has decided not to host anin-person Grower Workshop again this December. After evaluating other workshop options, wehave decided to collaborate with the UC Cooperative Extension in the UCCE NorthCoast Virtual IPM Seminar in early December. This virtual two half-day workshop is scheduled for December 1 and 2,2021 from 8:00 am to 12:15 pm each day. Read full story

Three electric vehicles will be handed over to Santa Rosa Junior College this week from the County of Sonoma to support SRJC’s respected Automotive Technology Program, a career technical education program that prepares students for future employment with dealerships, smog stations, repair facilities and other businesses.
