17th Annual Day of Caring Event
County of Sonoma and City of Santa Rosa employees will join forces on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, for the 17th annual Day of Caring event! Employees will participate in a day of service, working on a variety of projects ranging from painting, gardening, park trail work, packaging items at a food bank, graffiti removal and more. Tobacco Retail License Renewal
By June 30, 2017, all licensed tobacco retailers located in the unincorporated areas of Sonoma County must renew their Tobacco Retail License from the Sonoma County Health Department in order to continue selling tobacco products (including electronic cigarettes). Read full story

2017 Paving Program Moves Forward Despite Storm Damage

This week, construction ramped up on the replacement of Hauser Bridge, located on Hauser Bridge Road over the South Fork of the Gualala River about 4 miles east of the junction of Highway 1 and Kruse Ranch Road, near Cazadero. Read full story

Crews are potholing, trimming brush, preparing bridge decks at Odd Fellows' summer crossing, resurfacing, stenciling, repairing culverts and signs. Repairs on Hot Springs Road will begin later this week and the road is expected to open in early June. Construction activities for the Hauser Bridge Replacement are underway. Read full story
