Napa/Sonoma Pesticide Regulation Community Workshop March 9-10, 2022

Join this session to learn how pesticides are regulated and how laws are enforced across multiple state and local agencies to ensure the protection of human health and the environment.
Workshop topics include roles of United States Environmental Protection Agency, California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR), and Sonoma and Napa County Agricultural Commissioners (CAC) in regulating pesticide sales and use, DPR's role in monitoring water quality for pesticides, fostering the adoption of Integrated Pest Management, CAC inspection and enforcement efforts for pesticide applications and fieldworker safety, discussion on environmental justice, equity, and more.
