County encourages residents to complete 2020 Census bySeptember 30, 2020
Sonoma County is encouraging all residents to completethe 2020 Census by the deadline of Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020. The census is anintegral part of the U.S. Constitution, a process for counting the entirepopulation of the United States and five U.S. territories (Puerto Rico,American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and theU.S. Virgin Islands). Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approves fiscal year 2020-21 budget
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously today to adopt a $1.9 billion budget for 2020-21 that avoids layoffs while making investments in critical areas such as fire recovery, permanent supportive housing, COVID-19 response and mental health and homeless services. Read full story
