Every year, the flu sickens and kills thousands of Americans, and this year rates of illness in California and the rest of the country are trending moderately high. Fracturing a hip or spraining a wrist means a long rehabilitation, which can decrease seniors’ quality of life or even prevent them from living independently in their own homes. Inflatable Dam Removal Begins Today on Russian River
The Sonoma County Water Agency (Water Agency) today began deflating its rubber dam located in the Russian River near Forestville. The Water Agency routinely deflates the rubber dam when Russian River flows reach 2,000 cubic feet per second in order to prevent damage to the rubber dam from the high flows. Read full story

Two Men Convicted and Face Life Sentences for Windsor Armored Truck Robbery

Youthful Killer Denied Early Parole
