PG&E MAKES FIRST ANNUAL PAYMENTS REQUIRED BY KINCADE FIRE JUDGMENT
Sonoma County District Attorney Jill Ravitch announced today that Pacific Gas & Electric Company (“PG&E”) has made the first of five annual payments to several local nonprofit organizations serving members of the community impacted by wildfires. The payments were mandated by the stipulated judgment that resolved criminal and civil charges against PG&E related to causing the 2019 Kincade Fire. Read full story
Roseland COVID-19 vaccination clinic reopens after temporary closure due to water damage
The Roseland Community Clinic in southwest Santa Rosa reopened today after a temporary closure due to water damage. The clinic was temporarily closed on Dec. 16 to repair water damage caused by the activation of a fire sprinkler system in an adjacent building. It reopened as an onsite outdoor clinic on Dec. 20 and resumed indoor operations today. Read full story

Board of Supervisors approves transformative plans to redevelop Sonoma Developmental Center
A Specific Plan for the Sonoma Developmental Center has been approved by the Board of Supervisors, one that calls for the permanent protection of hundreds of acres of open space, building hundreds of units of affordable and workforce housing, provides living wage jobs and creates a walkable community with neighborhood-serving businesses. Roseland COVID-19 vaccination, testing clinic temporarily closed due to water damage
The Roseland Community Clinic in southwest Santa Rosa has been temporarily closed to repair water damage caused by a fire sprinkler system in an adjacent building late Thursday night. A fire inside Mercadito Roseland, located in the former Dollar Tree store next door to the clinic, activated the building’s sprinkler system and resulted in water damage to a wall shared with the clinic.
