<span style="color: rgb(32, 31, 30); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Thisweek, the boards of Sonoma County’s three groundwater sustainability agencies,Petaluma Valley, Sonoma Valley and Santa Rosa Plain, all unanimously approvedGroundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs) for each basin. The GSPs are requiredto be submitted as part of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA)for the purpose of assessing the conditions of each groundwater basin,analyzing the basin’s sustainability over a 50-year period, and identifyingprojects and actions needed to ensure the basin is sustainable by 2042.</span> Read full story

<p>Sewer Main Break nearVacation Beach in Guerneville; Customers Asked to Reduce Water Usage </p><p> </p>
<span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">A break in a sewer main was discovered at 3 p.m. today at the end of Orchard Avenue in Guerneville and crews from the Russian River County Sanitation District (RRCSD) are on the scene containing the leak and undertaking repair. All RRCSD customers are being asked to reduce their water usage as much as possible during this emergency. Reducing water use will reduce flows into the collection system and reduce wastewater discharges.</span> Read full story

<p>Emergency Wastewater Pipeline RepairUnderway in Guerneville; Minor Traffic Delays Possible</p><p> </p>
<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: rgb(35, 31, 32); letter-spacing: -0.1pt;">At approximately 5:45 a.m., November 27, Sonoma Watermaintenance and operation crews found the source of a wastewater leak in the </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">16500</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: rgb(35, 31, 32); letter-spacing: -0.1pt;">block of Highway 116 (River Road) in Guerneville. Repairs will begin shortly ona ruptured sewer force main pipeline and will continue through the day. Heavyequipment, trucks and personnel will be on site. Traffic controls will be inplace for worker, pedestrian and driver safety.</span> Read full story
