2022 Crane Scale Workshop – Weights and Measures

The Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures would like to invite you to have your harvest crane scales certified at one of their annual crane scale workshops. The workshops will be held Friday July 29, 2022, and Friday August 5, 2022, at the Sonoma County Heavy-Fleet Road Yard located at 1200 Century Court in Santa Rosa, California. The yard is located behind the SMART train railyard, next to Sonoma County Animal Services. Appointments are required to attend the workshop. Please call our office at (707) 565-2371 to make your appointment for one of the following dates:
- July 29, 2022 – Appointments will be held 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- August 5, 2022 – Appointments will be held 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Owner-operators of registered crane scales will receive a notification in the mail alerting them to the workshop along with instructions on how to sign up for the event. If you are unable to attend the workshop, you are welcome to drop off your crane scales at our main Santa Rosa office located at 133 Aviation Boulevard, Suite #110 in Santa Rosa, California. Your scale will be tested and made available to you for pick up on the following business day. All other non-portable scales will be tested at your place of business prior to the harvest season.
