County Offices and Services - Availability during Power Outage

Due to the power outage, many County offices will be closed, some services will be limited, and some public meetings will be canceled.

We will update the list below as soon as new information is available.  Please confirm that the services you are requesting are available before you arrive.

Known County Office Closures

• Clerk-Assessor-Recorder Offices - Closed
• Human Resources Offices - Closed
• Human Services - Limited Services
  • Area on Aging Legislative Committee meeting on October 9 - Canceled
  • CalFresh, Medi-Cal, GA, and CalWORKs - 2227 Capricorn Office will be available for immediate needs only
    • All non-immediate need requests will be asked to return after power has been restored
  • CPS, APS, and IHSS - essential functions only, public lobbies will be closed
  • South County Offices - Closed
• Permit Sonoma Offices - Closed
  • Inspections will be postponed during power outage
• Public Defender's Offices - Closed
• Regional Parks Administrative Offices - Closed
• Independent Office of Law Enforcement Review and Outreach Offices (IOLERO) - Closed
• Transportation and Public Works Offices - Closed

Voicemail may not be available during the power outage, however you may continue to send email. We will respond to email messages as soon as possible upon our return to the office. We apologize for the inconvenience.
