Advanced in-person voting to expand for June election
Beginning this Saturday, registered voters in Sonoma County who have not already voted in the June 7 statewide direct primary election, may vote in advance of Election Day in person at one of 31 vote centers located throughout the county. In-person voting has been available since May 28 at seven vote centers, but an additional 24 vote centers will be open from June 4 to Election Day. All vote centers will be open June 4 to June 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Election Day, June 7, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Read full story

County to begin mailing ballots for June election
Vote-by-mail ballots for the June 7, 2022 statewide Primary Election will start going out in the mail on Monday, May 9, to all active, registered voters in Sonoma County, the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters announced today. County mailing voter information guides for June primary election
The Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office, announced today that voter information guides for the upcoming June 7, 2022, statewide direct primary election, will begin going out in the mail today to all active, registered voters in Sonoma County. The regular deadline to register to vote in the upcoming April 12, 2022, Special Election in Windsor is March 28, Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Deva Marie Proto reminded residents today. Registrar of Voters invites public to attend March 28 virtual community briefing on Voter’s Choice Act election model
Deva Marie Proto, Sonoma County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor-Registrar of Voters (ROV), announced today that the ROV Office is partnering with the California Secretary of State (SOS) to host a virtual community briefing later this month on the Voter’s Choice Act (VCA) election model going into effect in Sonoma County this year. <span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Nominations will open on Monday, February 14 for various federal, state, judicial and county offices scheduled for election on June 7. According to County Clerk Deva Marie Proto, candidates interested in running for any of the 29 positions whose terms expire this year must file nomination papers between February 14 and March 11 in order to have their names placed on the June 7 ballot. If nomination papers for an incumbent elective officer of the district are not filed by 5 p.m. on March 11, candidates other than the incumbent have until 5 p.m. on March 16 to file for such elective office.</span> Read full story
