IOLERO announces first meeting of Community Advisory Council
Members of the public are encouraged to attend first public meeting of Community Advisory Council.
Published: November 21, 2016
The first meeting of IOLERO's Community Advisory Council (CAC) will take place on Monday, December 5, 2016, from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
The CAC is intended to assist IOLERO in functioning as a bridge between the many communities of Sonoma County and law enforcement, especially the Sheriff’s Office. One key function of the CAC will be to hold public meetings and to make recommendations on Sheriff’s Office policies, including, but not limited to, use of deadly force, community orientated policing, and other significant policies.
The CAC meetings are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend, meet the CAC members, and share their priorities with the group. The meeting will be held at the Permit & Resource Management Department (PRMD) Hearing Room, which is located at 2550 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Spanish translation will be provided. Future meetings of the CAC will take place on the first Monday of each month at the same time and location.
