Notice of Central Counting Place, In-Person Voting Locations, and Ballot Drop Boxes (Sonoma Valley Area)

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Elections Code Section 12109, the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office, 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa, CA, will be the central counting place for ballots cast in the Consolidated General Election, November 3, 2020.
Notice is also hereby given that, pursuant to Elections Code Section 15101, Vote by Mail ballots cast in the November 3, 2020, Consolidated General Election, may begin being verified, opened, and processed in the Registrar of Voters Office at approximately 8 a.m., October 5, 2020. The tally of Vote by Mail ballots cast (as well as ballots cast at in-person voting locations from October 31, 2020, through November 2, 2020) will be released shortly after 8 p.m. on November 3, 2020. Tabulation of ballots cast at in-person voting locations on Election Day itself will begin at approximately 9 p.m. and continue until all such ballots have been counted. The verifying, opening, processing, and tabulation of all ballots is open to the public.
Notice is also hereby given that 30 in-person voting locations will be open throughout Sonoma County from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 31, 2020, through November 2, 2020, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., November 3, 2020 (Election Day). Unlike previous elections in Sonoma County, voters can choose to go to any in-person voting location in the County. The in-person voting locations in the Sonoma Valley area are listed below.
