Sutter Health Plus
Sutter Health Plus, a not-for-profit HMO affiliated with Sutter Health, offers competitively priced health plans to individuals and employers in the greater Sacramento, Central Valley and Bay Area communities. When you choose Sutter Health Plus, you gain access to a high-quality provider network that includes many of Sutter Health’s nationally respected and recognized hospitals, doctors and other health care services—all at an affordable price. Plan coverage includes hospitalization, outpatient services, prescription drug coverage and no out-of-pocket cost preventive services, among others.

With the Sutter Health Plus network you have access to a network of high-quality health care providers, including many of Sutter’s doctors, clinicians and healthcare services. Here, providers work together to offer you easily accessible and personalized care. In Sonoma County this includes Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital; Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods; and Novato Community Hospital serving southern Sonoma County.

Sutter Walk-In Care
Convenient walk-in care clinics for your non-urgent health needs from colds, flu and strep, to allergies, ear infections, and minor sprains and strains. Walk-in care is a convenient option for flu shots and immunizations.
Urgent Care Directory
Urgent care centers are less expensive and generally faster than an emergency room for treatments that require prompt attention and are non-life threatening, such as a broken bones, minor burns, small cuts that may require stiches. If an in-network urgent care center is not available in your area, SHP covers medically necessary services to prevent serious deterioration of you (or your unborn child's) health at any urgent care center. Prior authorization is not required.

My Health Online is a secure online tool that lets members:
- Schedule appointments with primary care physicians

Member Portal is a secure online portal that offers the ability to:
- View, search and sort claims information
- Download member ID cards and member forms

Mental Health Counseling
Mental Health Counseling services through Sutter Health Plus are administered by USBHPC, a subsidiary of Optum. You can find confidential counseling services at www.liveandworkwell.com. Select Browse with a Code, then Browse by Company and search for Sutter Health Plus.
Using the County's EAP services? The EAP benefit is offered by Optum. In most cases, you can continue seeing the same counselor by providing them with your Sutter Health Plus insurance information.
On-Demand Mental Wellness Support
AbleTo offers self-care techniques, coping tools, medications and more - anytime, anywhere. Completely confidential, AbleTo is available online and via mobile app at no extra cost as part of your behavioral health benefits through USBHPC, a subsidiary of Optum https://member.ableto.com/begin/.
Dedicated Health and Wellness site
Sutter Health Plus' Health and Wellness site is designed with your physical and mental health in mind. The site provides health-related tools and resources, including a personal health assessment and 13 Action Plan modules to help you achieve your personal health and wellness goals.
The site also offers access to a Health Library featuring Learning Centers, a Video Library, a Symptom Checker, and more.
