2022-2023 Vision Premiums
Vision Premiums are paid in full by the County for full-time employees. Premiums are prorated for eligible part-time employees. Vision coverage cannot be waived by full-time or part-time eligible employees.

Kidscare |
Eye Exam: Two, fully covered comprehensive eye exams that test for eye health and vision problems that can begin during childhood, like nearsightedness, and amblyopia (lazy eye), and strabismus (cross-eye)

Repair and Replace | Lenses and frames needing repair or replacement if damaged or broken (frames covered up to frame allowance) |
Contact Lens Care in Lieu of Frames and Lenses | $130 allowance for contacts and related exam every 12 months (following date of last contact lens exam and contacts) |

Frame: $125 frame allowance plus 20% savings over your allowance, provided every 24 months (following the date of your last frames) Lenses: Covered in full every 12 months-following date of last lenses |
